The Danish waste sector is facing major changes towards 2030. The political agreement Climate plan for a green waste sector and circular economy sets the framework for a real paradigm shift that will ensure major CO2 reductions - while developing and promoting the circular economy.
The new national initiatives in the waste area, which are further described in the Action Plan for Circular Economy - National Plan for Prevention and Management of Waste 2020 - 2032, set the direction for the municipalities' further preparation of municipal waste planning. With this input to the municipal waste planning, ARGO will explain how the joint municipal waste company can contribute and support the development of a circular economy.
