Teddy bears from Gensalg spread joy in the playroom
Shortly before Christmas, 40 teddy bears from ARGO's Gensalg store in Roskilde found their way to the playroom in the cultural centre Hedehuset in Hedehusene. The teddy bears were handed out as Christmas gifts to almost 40 children.
- Opening presents with other children and playing together with what you've each received - it's just fantastic to be able to give the children such an experience," says Anja Nørgaard, the driving force behind the weekly playgroup.
Recycling that makes a difference
The staff in ARGO's Gensalg stores run regular collections for a wide range of good causes. Warm clothes and tents for the Men's Home, furniture and housing items for former homeless people moving into their own homes, various items for women's shelters, materials for schools and much more. The staff find these items among some of the second-hand items donated by private individuals at the recycling centres.
- We love it when recycling makes a difference to people and are constantly collecting things for good causes. And of course we also want to help spread a little extra joy in the playroom," says Ditte Titskov, ARGO's Section Manager for Direct Recycling.
As a regular customer at Gensalg , it was therefore obvious for Anja Nørgaard to reach out to the store staff.
Anja Nørgaard also received a gift card to Gensalg, which she can use to buy new toys or other relevant items for the children's playroom.
