The Energy Tower is closed for visits in May in calendar weeks 19, 20 and 21 - subject to extension. The Energy Tower is closed because during this period we carry out our annual major maintenance of the facility. Our own skilled craftsmen and those of our partners ensure that the plant remains in top technical condition. The furnace and boiler of our two plants in particular are being inspected.
Last year, the Energy Tower produced electricity and heat equivalent to the annual consumption of 80,900 and 55,870 households, respectively.
You can also visit one of ARGO's 13 recycling centres or our landfill. Here, our guides will show the site and give pupils the opportunity to immerse themselves in selected waste types and be inspired to consume more sustainably.
