Energy Tower glows orange in support of the fight against violence against women
In the first nine months of 2025, 20 women have been murdered in Denmark, well above the annual average of 13. Over half of them were murdered by a current or former partner. Violence against women is not an isolated problem, but a serious societal challenge that the UN campaign Sixteen Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women highlights.
On November 25, ARGO will mark the campaign by lighting the Energy Tower in Roskilde orange, the colour of hope and solidarity with women and girls around the world. Behind the initiative is Zonta Roskilde, the local branch of the international NGO Zonta International that works for better rights and living conditions for girls and women and for ending violence against them through awareness, support and education.
With the orange light, ARGO supports the fight for safety, respect and equality and the right to a life without violence.
